We are going on day 498503487532090976 of unplanned Snow Days off from school. With 4 kids aged 1-8 years old, we go through every activity and game you can imagine. Very quickly.
We have been reading, watching movies, practicing baking skills, and snack prep skills. I pulled out the board games and realized it took up a good chunk of time and had us all giggling! Here’s my round up of our Top 10. I made sure most of these can be picked up at the Kroger, HEB, Target or Walmart on your next grocery run. I don’t want to be the bearer of bad news, but more winter weather is coming so this may be helpful!
- Jenga
- Yeti in My Spaghetti
- Zingo
- Don’t Break The Ice
- Hurry Up Chicken Butt
- Connect 4
- Uno- If your kids are on the younger side, we do matching with the numbers/colors, team up with an older sibling/parent, or play face up!
- Taco Cat Goat Cheese Pizza
- Tapple (best for readers/writers)
- Trouble
Nothing Revolutionary here, but I hope it’s a useful resource to grab a new game and connect while you’re home with your littles!
Warm Wishes and Lots of Fun,
