Discover the Benefits of iSTEAM Learning for Little Ones

Discover the Benefits of iSTEAM Learning for Little Ones

The early education community is buzzing about STEAM learning and parents are eager to learn more about this educational approach.  At Creative World School, we’ve been incorporating STEAM concepts in our curriculum for many years. As we explore STEAM topics (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math), we provide children with the tools and freedom they need to thrive.  The Creative World School Frisco team believes in using our inquiry-based curriculum to invite children to ask questions about the world around them. This is the basis for our STEAM learning. Inquiry is the “i” in iSTEAM and encourages a student’s curiosity as he/she develops problem solving skills.

Anna Kaiser’s Home Workout Motivation Tips!

Working out at home has always had some advantages—the most obvious being you don’t have to waste any time driving to a gym…or combing your hair. However, motivation can be pretty tough. “What I am hearing from clients is the lack of results, accountability, and personalization that comes with most at-home workouts causes a quick burnout and a habit of hopping from one platform to another,” shares celebrity trainer Anna Kaiser, who founded the Anna Kaiser Studios and has trained Kelly Ripa, Shakira, Alicia Keys, and Sarah Jessica Parker.  “No one is there to hold you accountable for that time so it’s easy not to show up. And we are human! People need people,” adds Anna. We asked this fitness guru  for her best tips for staying motivated while working out at home, including the essentials for a home gym and importance of finding an online community.

Trimino: Protein Infused Water

Trimino: Protein Infused Water

“The genesis of trimino came from observing our kids and what they consumed when playing football, hockey, and lacrosse. They were consuming large quantities of sugary drinks that made very little positive contribution to their nutritional health. The ‘ah ha’ moment came with the question, ‘Why not replace the empty calories from sugar with something healthy?’ Protein was our answer,” explains Bob. We spoke to this founder and dad of four, about launching trimino, why it’s a game-changer for youth sports (pun intended!) and what’s next for the brand.

Celina, TX — Synthetic grass has skyrocketed in popularity due to its numerous practical benefits such as low maintenance requirements and long-term cost savings. One benefit that often gets overlooked, however, is turf’s hypoallergenic nature. Made with polyethylene fibers, synthetic grass is an ideal landscaping solution for those who are allergic to grass but don’t want to sacrifice a lush, green backyard space. One Celina, Texas, family decided to enlist the help of Pave-N-Turf artificial grass installers to turn their backyard space into a family-friendly paradise that would keep bugs and allergies at bay all year long.
